The 20th annual ALARM Survey highlights that, while we are moving in the right direction, a big task remains to bring the local road network up to scratch.

The Survey found that across England and Wales one in six of our roads is still classed as being in a poor condition and local authorities still need £12 billion, the same amount reported last year, to address the backlog of repairs.
